Paitnings On Maple Leaves

Paitnings On Maple Leaves

Today I want to share with you some wonderful examples of hard work on tree leaves. It is believed that the first person in the world to create art in this form was from China – Huang Tai Shan. Years ago he began to carve paintings on leaves and in 1994 his work was included in the Guinness Book of Records.

In my opinion this is very well-deserved, just imagine how much energy and effort has been put into each painting.

Maple leaves at a specific stage of drying are thoroughly washed, then soaked in a secret solution and dried. Then a prepared stencil is applied and the “drawing” begins by cutting the thin leaf and removing tiny bits of it. The process is of course a very laborious and time consuming, but the result is pure surreal beauty.
